A Novel Approach for Smart Health Care Monitoring System Using Internet of Things

This project is significant in various ways because in today's world, everyday many lives are affected because the patients are not timely and properly operated. Also, for real time parameter values are not efficiently measured in clinic as well as in hospitals. Sometimes it becomes difficult for hospitals to frequently check patient’s conditions. Also, continuous monitoring of ICU patients is very difficult. To deal with these types of situations, our system is beneficial. Our system is designed to be used in hospitals and homes also for measuring and monitoring various parameters like temperature, ECG, heart rate, blood pressure. The results can be recorded using Arduino. Also, the doctors can see those results on android app. The system will also generate an alert notification which will be sent to doctor. Our system is useful for monitoring health system of every person through easily attach the device and record it.

In which we can analysis patient’s condition through their past data, we will recommend medicines if any emergency occurred through symbolic A.I. With tons of new healthcare technology start-ups, IoT is rapidly revolutionizing the healthcare industry. In this project, we have designed the IoT Based Patient Health Monitoring System using ESP8266 & Arduino. The IoT platform used in this project is Thing Speak. Thing Speak is an open-source Internet of Things (IoT) application and API to store and retrieve data from things using the HTTP protocol over the Internet or via a Local Area Network. This IoT device could read the pulse rate and measure the surrounding temperature. It continuously monitors the pulse rate and surrounding temperature and updates them to an IoT platform. The Arduino Sketch running over the device implements the various functionalities of the project like reading sensor data, converting them into strings, passing them to the IoT platform, and displaying measured pulse rate and temperature on character LCD.

Internet of things (IoT) is a fast growing a user-friendly technology which allows everything to be connected and also allows effective communication between the connected "things". IoT has top five applications are Traffic monitoring, Healthcare, Security, Transport and logistics, and Daily life. Our objective focuses on developing Health Care application. The Internet of Things could be a game-changer for the healthcare industry. The proposed system presents an architectural framework to describe the entire monitoring life cycle and highlights essential service components. It serves as a fundamental basis for achieving robust, efficient, and secure health monitoring. The main primary aims of this project is to design an IOT based architecture for health-related issues such as Heart Monitoring system, body temperature and Daily Activity. The Data obtained through sensors are uploaded to the cloud and shared with others. Data obtained through sensors are processed and accessed through a smart phone.
